Laura to Host Gang Awareness Seminar

Laura will put her 20 year experience serving the public as a Prosecutor and six year experience as a Maine Township Trustee to use once again serving the local community by presenting a Gang Awareness and Prevention Strategies Seminar at Maine Township Town Hall on April 23rd from 7-9:00 PM. This seminar is hosted by Mainestay Youth and Family Services Department and is open to all. Laura will teach our parents, schools, and communities what type of risk factors, behaviors and clothing to watch for in preventing and combatting gang crime behavior. Laura will also focus on prevention strategies used sucessfully by some of our local police departments in combatting “quality of life” type crimes. Laura’s presentation has been featured in the Pioneer Press both online and in Niles, Park Ridge and Des Plaines: www.pioneerlocal.com/niles/news.

Laura’s Supproting the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Join Us in The Battle to Donate to Breast Cancer Research

Laura J. Morask, Candidate for Circuit Court Judge in the 12th Judicial Subcircuit has kicked off her campaign with a pledge of support to the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Many of you supporters may already know from her candidate biography that Laura’s mother died at age 42 after a long and painful battle against this terrible disease. Laura’s grandmother also died of breast cancer at age 55. Since then Laura has always supported the fight against this disease. This year, her support of Breast Cancer research will be to donate 10% of any online donations received or the months of April and May culminating in a gala May 29th Kickoff Fundraiser where 10% of the proceeds from that event will also be donated to the Avon Foundation. Please come join today in this battle by going to the Wall of Honor! If you are planning to participate in the walk, or have in the past, please email us as we are looking for people to whom to pledge our donations as well as any photos of past participation which will also go up on the Wall of Honor.
