Wheeling Township Endorses Laura Morask
Candidate Laura J. Morask Overwhelimgly Endorsed by the Republicans of Wheeling Township at their November 10th, Endorsement Session.
By a rousing vote of 49-9 the Republicans of Wheeling Township endorsed Laura J. Morask’s candidacy for the 12th Judicial Subcircuit, over that of her opponent who filed her candidacy papers at the last minute, 3:00pm Monday, November 5th. Apparently the Wheeling Republicans were not distracted in their full-fledged support for Laura. The packed house applauded Laura as she walked to the podium to present her credentials.
Laura spoke of her work of 22 years to protect the community as a gang prosecutor, a sex crimes prosecutor and a Maine Township trustee and her election together with a group of longtime prominent Maine Township Republicans. In closing Laura spoke of her support for and honor of the veterans of America. “I am a member of the American Legion and received a Service to the American Constitution award. I am also an honorary Marine Corp member for 20 years and wish the Marines here a Happy Birthday! Finally, I want to thank all the veterans without whom I would not be able to be here today”.
